Our Services
Here is an overview of the services and facilities you can expect at each of our care homes. For specific information please visit each home's individual information page.
Comfortable Accommodation
Our aim is to make our residents as comfortable and relaxed as possible in their new home. Naturally, all the basics are taken care of such as cleaning and laundry. Most of our rooms are en suite and they all have a television and telephone point. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms as much as they wish with their own belongings. For items such as small pieces of furniture or perhaps a small pet we suggest that you discuss your requirements with the manager of the individual care home. |
Healthy Meals
All our meals are freshly prepared by on-site chefs who design varied, nutritional and appetising meals for our residents. We use local produce wherever possible and can cater for special dietary requirements. |
Entertainment & Activities
All our homes have dedicated activities coordinators who arrange programmes of social events, trips and outings. Most of our homes have a well stocked library or visiting library service and residents can, of course, order newspapers and magazines if they wish. Private hairdressing can be arranged, usually by a mobile hairdresser who can be booked to visit the home. |
Visitors
It is important for our residents to keep in touch with their family and friends and so we have an open visiting policy and they are welcome at any time. |
Care
The care needs of each of our residents is assessed by our qualified staff at the outset and then continually monitored. We have RGN nurses in our general nursing homes and RMN nurses in our specialist EMI homes. Most staff hold NVQ certification and we are committed to ongoing investment in staff training to ensure the highest standards of care at all times. You may be keeping your own GP if you have moved from the local area or we can assist you in finding a local GP. Additional services such as a dentist, chiropodist or optician can be arranged. |
