Heathercroft Care Home is located in the leafy residential area of Woolston on the outskirts of Warrington. It is a purpose-built home, all on one ground floor level. Accommodation is provided in single rooms, some of which have en-suite facilities and all are equipped with televisions.
We have two re-decorated lounge areas, one main dining area and a pub themed area.
Residents also benefit from our own, fully equipped hairdressing salon and regular visits by a local hair stylist.
Outside, we have well-maintained garden areas for use by our residents and their families.
We care for residents who require general personal and social care.
We welcome referrals for private clients.
We cater for special diets including diabetic and soft meals for residents with swallowing difficulties. All meals are cooked from fresh local ingredients, taking into account residents' personal preferences.
Social and recreational activities are provided by the activities co-ordinators, seven days a week. The programme of activities is compiled from requests and suggestions offered by residents and their relatives and is designed to meet the physical capabilities and interests of the residents.
Entertainers are regularly invited to the home for musical afternoons and to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries should the resident so wish. Residents' families are invited to all events in the home.
Outings are arranged as often as possible.
Heathercroft was inspected by the Care Quality Commission on 31st July 2020. We are currently working closely with the CQC to achieve a 'Good' inspection.
